CHIMULIRENJI’S INJUCTION DELAYED

The High Court in Lilongwe has reserved its ruling in a case involving deposed Vice President Everton Chimulirenji who pleaded for a court to stop businessman Matias Bonongwe from seizing some of his property.

www.avantmalawi.com confirms that Judge Kenyatta Nyirenda heard arguments from both parties in the Chambers today and will make a ruling at a date to be announced.

The claimant, in addition is demanding K100 million from Chimulirenji due to a failed Maize supply to Admarc, which he allegedly was arranged by Chimulirenji when he was Minister of Disaster Management Affairs before it was cancelled.

In his defensory words Chimulirenji claimed damages for trespassing and character assassination.
