A 70 years old grandmother claims to be Nelson Mandela’s daughter

The 70-year-old grandmother is rumored to be the daughter of former democratically elected president Nelson Mandela although family members denied the allegations.

. “The ways of a man are unknown,” said Lydia Mahakoe.

At the time she her mother disclosed the news, she never accepted and chased away her mother if she would report her as Nelson’s child.

The most frequently asked question is that, why she was so quiet all this time and decided to speak out now? Most of the people accuses her of trying break apart the family.

She has so far received support from those who have assisted her in raising the issue.

Nelson Mandela (18 July 1918 – 5 December 2013) was a South African politician, lawyer, anti-apartheid revolutionary and philanthropist.

He served as the 11th President of the African National Congress and first President of the Republic of South Africa after fall of apartheid.

Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years by the Apartheid Regime, during that period he gradually became hero, songs and poems were written about him as the black South Africans longed for his release and return.

He was the contemporary of Oliver Tambo, Walter Sisulu, Robert Sobukwe and Anton Lembede.
