FROM ZAMBIA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION PAGE (FAZ), NAMADINGO ENDORSES KOPA

The KoPa brand’s cross-border appeal received yet another grand endorsement through popular Malawian musician Patience Namadingo.

Namadingo visited Football House to personally deliver his sentiments for the brand which has been on a steady growth since 2018 when it was launched.

The talented musician met FAZ president Andrew Kamanga and his general secretary Adrian Kashala.

“This is beautiful, I actually didn’t know that KoPa was the brand name because I thought it was the jersey name, I will be putting on the KoPa from today,” said Namadingo.

“I am pro-African, and I love this. We’ve just grown to know Umbro, Puma but a KoPa coming from Africa is exciting.”

Kamanga said he was elated to receive Namadingo whom he praised for his charity works in Malawi, Zambia and countries. The FAZ boss was happy that Namadingo will be embarking on a journey to market the brand in Malawi.

“We want to grow the market locally then we go outside. So even in Malawi, those teams that are looking for a dedicated kit, we are happy to prepare something for them. It is very affordable; it’s only going for K350 which is essentially about $15 so give or take. FAZ took a decision to manage the value chain, we want to work for ourselves and keep the value,” Kamanga said in welcoming Namadingo.

The Mapulani hit-singer has earned a good reputation that has seen him become a darling among the Zambian fans.

KoPa is a wholly owned FAZ brand that is registered as trademark at PACRA.
