Avantmalawi has gathered they were running battles in Bvumbwe early this morning as Malawi Police shot a man dead.
Eye witness has it that the man was shot on chest after Police Officers were in a tag of war to have him Arrested.
Whereas, rumors are contrary that the police have shot two men to death on the scene. Avantmalawi went on to confirm with James Kadazera who happens to be National publicity, who claims he is still gathering information on the scene.
Meanwhile there was confusion in Bvumbwe lately as the Police were trying to dispersed the crowd with teargas, in the course of defending their counterparts and to bring sanity on the scene.
Business came to a standstill as the community turn horrible demanding no police officer to operate and chasing every government vehicle. This development went fierce as unconfirmed reports circulates how Mchacha’s property was disposed to risk of attacks by angry community members.

BVUMBWE ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING INCIDENT DATED 28:12:2020
Occurred on 28/12/2020 at Bvumbwe trading center .A/SUPT KELVIN MWENEBANDA the station officer C/O Bvumbwe police sub station box 44 , Bvumbwe . report in the above subject inwhich No B1006 Sgt Henry Daniel Banda of the same police who accidentally shot asuspect by name Chipiliro full particulars not advised and died on the spot and also shot Solomon Matindi full particulars not advised on his stomach and both victims have been taken to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital for identification.
Brief facts are that the rank who is B1006 Sgt Henry Daniel Banda was assulted and Unlawfully wounded by the first victim .File of Unlawful Wounding was opened under BV/ CR/40/02/2020 against the first victim.
Then the victim was at large until today the 28/12/2020 was seen at Bvumbwe trading center by the rank.The rank informed his fellow police officers namely No Bo702 S/Insp Mwaziona Chiwaya and Bo6433 Vincent Mwenda who went to Bvumbwe trading center to arrest the suspect (victim).The suspect (victim)was resting to be arrested . Then the rank had aRiffle K2c.He fired in the air for twice and the suspect (victim) grabbed aRiffle which Accidentally shot him on his left chest which also the same bullet shot the second victim on his stomach .
The victims were taken to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital .The rank is at large . However SWR team visited the Crime Scene and enquires are still under way to get more information from the rank .BV/CR/37/12/2020
