Police in Kawale have taken into its custody three men on suspicion that during the night of December 17-18 they broke into a Modern hardware shop belonging to a Malawian of Pakistan origin, Salahuddian Akbar.
The trio, identified as Jassam Kadammanja, 43, Edward Alick ,29, and Innocent Makamo, 21.
Among the three, two are security guards hired from a certain security company to secure the shop while Alick Edward is a shop attendant.
According to reports filed at Kawale, it indicates that on December 18th, this year a case of breaking into a building against unknown criminals, where assorted items got stolen including an amount of K11 million cash.

Following this report detectives went flat on ground and managed to arrest the three from December 26 -28, in Ntcheu, Kasungu and Lilongwe .
So far police have recovered the stolen Desktop computer, and K975,000 cash.
Other items bought from proceeds of crime, like brand new motorcycle, Mattress and coffee table have been seized also.
The three have been charged with breaking offences and will be appearing in Court soon to answer charges leveled against them.
Kadammanja hails from Sanenje Village, Traditional Authority Ganya in Ntcheu while Edward Alick comes from Sosola Village Traditional Authorityg Mnsamala in Balaka and Innocent hails from Makamo Village, Traditional Authority Mnyanja in Kasungu.
