Kawale Police Officer-In-Charge Mr Devlin Mwamkili Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) during the night of December 25-26, 2025 joined his Subordinates to ensure that festive season crimes are watched together.
Mr Devlin Mwamkili (DCP), during preparatory meetings called upon his Subordinates to never relent in the fight against festive season crimes.
It is from this background that he ordered the implementation of several initiatives that ranges from proactive to reactive approach.

The Officers under Community Policing and Public Relations offices have been tasked to conduct massive awareness campaigns through radio, Television, road shows programs.
In his quest to increase visibility, man power has been increased in both vehicle and foot patrols.
While for emergencies, the 997 Rapid Response is always alert for just-in time service delivery.
Traffic personnel are seen tirelessly conducting traffic checks on motorists ensuring their safety through adherence to traffic rules and regulations.
Witnessing the strategic implementation of these initiatives, Kawale OC, Mr Devlin Mwamkili DCP availed himself, joining officers on Christmas duty bound in briefing the night target, charging teams to frequently communicate to control base. As this was not enough he took charge Manning the control room under the call sign ‘Kawale Control’.
