Flames coach, Patrick Mabedi, has unveiled a 30-man provisional squad for the upcoming TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2023 qualifier against Guinea. The squad is set to gather in camp on Monday to prepare for the crucial match scheduled for September. Malawi will welcome Guinea at Lilongwe’s Bingu National Stadium on September 9 for their final group D encounter.
Players who are unattached or not part of Super League teams, as well as those from teams not participating in midweek Super League fixtures, are expected to join the camp at Mpira Village in Blantyre on Monday. Meanwhile, players from teams engaged in midweek fixtures will assemble on Thursday. The team is scheduled to depart for Lilongwe on Friday.
