Nyambadwe, Ndirande ward is among one of the prone areas that has been hit by Cyclone Freddy.
Today, the 16th March, 2023. Castel Malawi partnered with young Achievers for Development and donated assorted items worthy 20 million kwacha to Ndirande victims through the councillor for Nyambadwe, Cllr Balaba.
After receiving the Items Baraba Kanojerera who is also the deputy Mayor for Blantyre appreciated Castel Malawi and all stakeholders, he further requested more assistance from well wishers as Ndirande, Golio has lost more than 300 houses to flash floods.
Nyambadwe Primary School camp has 1,441 survivors
