Chiefs in Mwanza district are participating demonstrations demanding the immediate transfers of the Mwanza District Commissioner Charles Chimbalanga, District Health Officer Ireen Zuze and District Environmental Health Officer Blessings Chitsime.
Communities in the district are accusing the DC, the DHSS, and the DEHO of failing their duties.
When talking Avant Publications, one of the participants, Inkosi Kanduku said many youths from the district are failing to get employed by the council.
In addition, the local leader clarified in an angry tone “council authorities are favouring their relatives in various roles within the council.” This is causing the youths to be vulnerable.
