ZOMBA POLICE SECONDARY SCHOOL WEARS A NEW FACE

Avantmalawi has it that Zomba Police Secondary School alumni has since yesterday, Saturday the 28th of November 2020, handed over two rehabilitated classrooms as a beginning of uplifting it’s delapidated face.

Speaking to one of our reporters, Chairperson for the alumni, Justina Mnjemu said they are sad to see most of the school’s buildings in ruins and un attended to, with this in mind he stressed, a few concerned members contributed about 600 thousand kwacha to paint and fix windows starting with the two classrooms.

Deputy headteacher Senior Superintendent Bright Phulanya commended the alumni for the support and called for more support to assist the school, from various well wishers.

Zomba Secondary school is one of the oldest schools in the town of Zomba, that has shines influential citizens to highest standards within Malawi and outside.  We as citizens we can’t just afford to sit back and wait for the government to move in developing the worn out buildings of our schools. Yes! We can do something if we join hands
