The Anti Corruption Bureau has arrested Francesca Masamba, DPP member of Parliament for Mangochi East who is also a member of Parliament Committee of Public Appointment.
Masamba will answer charges of misuse of public office and corrupt use of official powers.
According Egritta Ndala, Spokesperson for ACB Masamba solicited between MK 1 Million to MK2 Million from a candidate who was being interviewed for the position of the director of public officers declaration by parlimentary committee of public appointment inorder to influence the committee in favour of the said candidate.
