MalawiGovt is constructing a mausoleum for Gwanda Chakuamba, one of the country’s fallen political heroes.

Minister of Civic Education & National Unity Timothy Mtambo disclosed this during an engagement with traditional leaders in Nsanje district, yesterday.
According to Mtambo, the mausoleum is being constructed at Chakuamba’s private residence in the district, but he did not reveal its actual cost.

Chakuamba, who died in 2016 was once decorated a political giant in the lower shire districts, for his role in safeguarding the country’s democracy.
