BISHOP CHULA CLEARS MISCONCEPTION AROUND THE DEATH OF HIS WIFE

In response to the outrageous false allegations circulating in various Social Media Platforms about
Bishop Gift Chaula (General Overseer) and Kingdom Glory International Church, the church leadership
would like to categorically state and inform the general public that there has been a total disregard for
the truth surrounding the death of his beloved wife Jennifer, and a misinterpretation of issues about
her burial.

Bishop Jennifer Chaula succumbed to cancer related illness for some years.

Two weeks before her
death, she went to Lilongwe to attend the wedding ceremony of her late sister’s son. On the wedding
day, her condition worsened and was taken to Springs Field Valley Hospital.

The deceased’s aunt was the guardian On Sunday morning, she died. According to the medical report, Bishop Jennifer died due
to low blood pressure caused by the underlying ilness. Bishop Gift Chaula and his wife Jennifer have
been in a holy matrimony for twenty five years.
When the news about Bishop Jennifer’s death was announced, the church leadership convened a
meeting with the families from both sides. This meeting was possible because the female side were in
Lilongwe for the wedding.

At the meeting it was agreed to bury the remains of Bishop Jennifer in
Blantyre as her special honour of being the Bishop and the mother to Kingdom Glory International
Church.

In Blantyre, the deceased’s relatives who were not present at the meeting in Lilongwe disagreed with
the earlier agreement by insisting to bury the remains as per their tradition in Balaka.

They blamed each other to an extent of going to the police station several times for mediation.

A consensus was not
reached. Consequently, the group, from Balaka, with dissenting views began violent acts and all sorts
of swearing to Bishop Chaula and Kingdom Glory International Church.
