As learners and teachers were preparing to resume standard 8 classes on Monday amid covid19 pandemic, an angry villager vented his anger on teachers at kalira primary school in kanyera village TA Kachindamoto on allegations that one of the teachers ( name withheld) was having an affair with his wife while he was away in South Africa.
The angry villager whipped the accused teacher with a y16 wire and was rescued by his fellow teachers and Mtakataka Police.
Meanwhile the teachers have threatened not to report for duties until the security in the area is restored and they are sure of their safety.
