Fire has gutted a hostel for male students at Saint Luke’s College of Nursing in Zomba.
According to one student, the fire was spotted at around 1:15 pm.
College Principal Maxwell Pangani also confirmed of the inferno.
He however was not in a position to shed more light as he was tied up.
Meanwhile, fire fighters from Zomba City Council are on the scene trying to put out the fire, which has destroyed mattresses and students’ belongings.
