Manchester City has made history by becoming the first team in English football to win four consecutive titles. This marks the seventh Premier League title for the team under Pep Guardiola’s leadership.
City secured the title with a 2-1 victory over West Ham United in their final match at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Phil Foden opened the scoring within 80 seconds and added another goal in the 18th minute.
Despite City’s dominance in the first half, West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus scored a stunning bicycle kick in the 42nd minute to bring the score to 2-1.
Arsenal fans were hopeful as their team was tied 1-1 with Everton at halftime and needed City to lose to have a chance at their first league title in 20 years.

However, any hopes of a West Ham comeback were dashed when Rodri scored City’s third goal at the half-hour mark.
This goal ensured City’s victory and eliminated Arsenal’s chances of claiming the league title, even though Arsenal eventually beat Everton 2-1.
Since joining City at the start of the 2016/2017 season, Guardiola has now won the Premier League six times. He will now aim to complete a double with an FA Cup final against Manchester United on Sunday.
