On the quest of Ministry of Youth and Sports for funding Malawi National Football team the government, through treasury has finally approved funds to assist flames for the remaining in counters of 2022 Quatar World Cup qualifiers.
Flames was in deficit of MK200 million as per proposed budget.
Before the approval, FAM President Walter Nyamilandu threatened to pull out of the cup in desperation as the situation squeezed him, from the comfort zone to the tight corner.
