Speaking to the Team Manager of Chitipa United Mwayiseni Kabaghe, he confirms to Avant desk that Covid-19 has so far disengaged the daily management of the team.
Mr Kabaghe narrates that the team has in place sustainable measures to pay reimbursement and allowances to it’s players during the playoff lockdown. Among many income generating activities, Chitipa United has ventured into selling of T-shirts, caps and many more. However, the development went half way implemented due to donor fund shortcomings.
The team Manager welcomes the move to allow players – play without supporters as proposed by SULOM and FAM, during their meeting few days ago.
