According to the taskforce, the new wave of the Corona virus is more dangerous and spreads faster than the previous one.
The committee has also announced that Malawi has recorded 46 new cases as of Tuesday.
Malawi borders shall be sealed for 14 days from today as a measure to decelerate the resurgence of the spread of Covid-19 in the country, information minister Gospel Kazako says.

The only people who will be allowed through the entry border posts are Malawians deported from other countries, those returning home and providers of essential services.
