Then Central Bankers signs Katinji

Silver Strikers have made significant acquisitions in preparation for the forthcoming season, securing the services of George Chikooka from Chitipa United and Binwell Katinji from Civil Service United. Katinji, who notched up 11 goals during the 2023 season, narrowly missed out on clinching the top scorer title in the TNM Super League.

Returning to the Central Bankers on a two-year contract, Katinji’s journey sees him back where it all began in 2016, following spells with Malanti Chiefs in Eswatini and a stint with Civil Service United. Expressing his satisfaction with the move, Chikooka emphasized the opportunity for personal growth with his new team.

“Joining Silver Strikers is a dream come true for me,” he remarked, pledging to contribute to the club’s quest for success. Similarly, Katinji highlighted his sense of unfinished business as he rejoins the fold, affirming his commitment to the club’s objectives.

“My return to Silver Strikers signifies a mission yet to be accomplished,” he declared, vowing to give his all for the team’s cause.
