As the Simso Innobuild Northern Region Football League 2024 season approaches, slated to kick off in April, teams are actively working on building robust squads.
Avant Publications has learned that officials from Mzimba United FC and Mzimba Young Bullets FC are in discussions to merge the two teams, forming a united force from Mzimba.
In random interviews conducted by Avant Publications, Kingsley Jere, a sports enthusiast, supported the merger, seeing it as a way to create a formidable team representing Mzimba.
On the other hand, William Lukhele expressed optimism about the development but emphasized the need for both teams to collaborate on establishing an independent management with a clear focus on supporting the players and technical staff.
In alignment with the idea of merging, Patricia Chunga voiced her support, stating that this move would create a strong team for Mzimba, capable of competing in the Simso Innobuild Northern Region Football League and aiming for promotion to the Tnm Super League.
