The Glasgow netball outfit, Strathclyde Sirens, has entered into a partnership with the Ekwendeni Resources Netball team.
Confirming this development, Shupo Kumwenda, the director of Ekwendeni Resource Netball team, stated that the collaboration with Strathclyde Sirens will provide Malawian netballers with an opportunity to showcase their talents on an international platform.
Kumwenda expressed that this partnership is another way for his players to gain exposure to other countries. He is delighted with this development, noting that it creates opportunities for players to follow in the footsteps of Towera Vinkhumbo, who plays for the team from Malawi.
As part of their collaboration, the UK-based team has generously donated three large boxes of kit to the Ekwendeni Resource Netball team.
