In a groundbreaking achievement, the Simso Innobuild Northern Football League’s team has unveiled an innovative team hostel with self-contained rooms.
On January 12, 2024, during my tour in Ekwendeni, I had the opportunity to visit the team hostel of Ekwaiwen Tafika Sports Academy, a participant in the regional league of the Simso Innobuild Northern Football League.
This hostel, currently in the construction phase, will feature 12 self-contained double rooms. Shupo Kumwenda, the Director of Ekwaiweni Sports Academy FC, disclosed that the hostel is specifically designed for his team but also expressed its availability for booking by other teams, including those in the super league.
Kumwenda eagerly shared that the hostel would soon be operational, marking an exciting chapter for the team and their forward-thinking accommodation.
