Government has warned mining company owners who have hanged their mining licences on dust shelves with no operations on the ground to revoke their licences. The revoking exercise of the said licences will start soon. The government is set to revoke all licences which have stayed idle for at least five years or more. Minister of Mining Rashid Gaffar said this in an attempt to remind the mining licence holders to invest in the sector.
