Arsenal, Chelsea and Fulham have joined West Ham United in progressing to the fourth-round of the Carabao Cup this evening.
The Gunners defeated Premier League rivals Leicester City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium, Chelsea made light work of Championship side Barnsley at Stamford Bridge, winning 6-0, and Fulham had to dig deep to record a 2-0 home triumph over a much-changed Sheffield Wednesday side at Craven Cottage.
Victories for the London trio mean they join West Ham, who defeated Hull City 5-1 on Tuesday evening, in having advanced to the last-16 of the competition, with the prospect of a trip to Wembley now one step nearer.
As has been the case with the Carabao Cup so far this season, the draw for the fourth-round ties took place last week following the conclusion of the second-round, meaning clubs knew who their fourth-round opponents would be before they had even kicked a ball in the third-round.
