Moyale Barracks FC is aiming for back‑to‑back victories as they face Kamuzu Barracks FC in a military derby this Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Champion Stadium in Mponela, Dowa.
Both teams head into the fixture in high spirits, having secured valuable away wins in their previous assignments. Moyale will be hoping to build on that momentum despite playing away from home for the second consecutive time.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Moyale Barracks head coach Prichard Mwansa expressed confidence in his squad’s form and readiness. “It’s always tough playing away, especially back‑to‑back, but the boys are responding well in training. We are prepared and motivated to go for all three points,” he said.

Mwansa acknowledged the challenge posed by Kamuzu Barracks but maintained that his team is up to the task. “We know Kamuzu Barracks is a strong side, and the match won’t be easy. But I trust my players. They’ve shown great character and commitment in our preparations.”
As it stands, Moyale Barracks is in 7th position on the league table with 3 points from one game. Kamuzu Barracks, meanwhile, sits in 2nd place, also with 3 points from one match, making Sunday’s clash even more intriguing.
