Police in Kawale has on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 received a donation of 50 reflective Jackets from Tamara Safety Products Group of Companies as a display of corporate social responsibility and an appreciation of the good relationship that exists between the two organisations..
The gesture is a testament of the company’s unwavering commitment in supporting police towards security enhancement.
Extending his gratitude, Kawale Police Officer-In-Charge, Mr Davie Chilalire Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), appreciated the company’s Chief Executive Officer ,Mr Lloyd Chimuna Phiri for the support rendered as timely, which he said will help increase safety and police visibility thereby proactively contribute in crime reduction.
During the handing over ceremony which took place at Tamara Safety company’s offices located close to Lilongwe Community Ground, Mr Lloyd Chimuna Phiri, noted that as business people in the area we can not thrive in business without stable security, he therefore highlighted the need of symbiotic relationship hence the donation which will bolster security.
Furthermore, Mr Lloyd Chimuna Phiri cited the uncountable benefits the company enjoys in the area due to the cordial relationship with law enforcers.He therefore promised Company’s continued support to Kawale Police.
This donation comes barely two months after the company donated plastic chairs to the formation.
