Interesting times indeed, how on Earth can people block the President or the vice president’s convoy only to be greeted. And what is surprising is these are top decision makers who are well versed in health issues not only to talk about their level of literacy.
Mr President, is Covid19 pandemic over? Must we say just because of the Astrazeneca vaccination exercise, we must be at liberty and relax? Where are the masks? and various precaution measures.
Avantmalawi has noted with great concern, how Political rallies are filled to capacity with people who do not subject to protective masks. This is greedy, and uncalled-for. If health experts have confided in you Covid19 is over, then do not hesitate to officially inform the nation. We believe we voted in confidence to leaders who walk the talk, campaign period is over and we expect it’s time for massive Development until somewhere in 2023.
We recall, the minister of health Hon Khumbize Chiponda who also happens to be the co-chairperson of the Presidential task force on Covid19 instructed the nation to observe minimal Public gatherings of about 250 people and should all put on masks.
The same presidential task force banned sports fans from watching games at stadiums, our musicians are languishing in poverty as shows went banned while the Tonse Alliance leaders are busy greeting people in rallies.
