Notice of demonstrations by human rights and gender activists in what they call against lack of women representation in recent public appointments by President Lazarus Chakwera has been granted by the Lilongwe City Council.
The activists are taking it to the streets tomorrow from 9:30am.
The protests, demanding increased women representation, will be held in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
Meanwhile HE Dr Lazarus Chakwera has cut short his state visit to Tanzania and he has just jet in this afternoon.
