The Malawi for Jesus crusade flooded thousands of Christians and other believers to the Lilongwe Golf club ground for three days.
During the crusade it was interesting to see faces of various political figures from both ruling and opposition parties at one place. The unison was worth celebrating as seen in pictures attached; Dr Kondwani Nankhumwa sat close to Hon Timothy Mtambo, Hon Madalitso Kazombo, Ken Msonda just a few to mention.
As prophet W Magaya raised his voice to God to resurrect Malawi’s economy, he went on his knees pleading to God to allow standard minerals like copper and uranium be identified in Malawi to move the nation forward economically.
“Iam on my knees Lord, you sent me to Malawi. And as I am leaving this nation let your blessing fall on Malawi, let its citizens be amazed as it is lifted from the curse of Poverty, the African curse that most African countries are fighting. Make her citizens rich, let Agriculture and Natural minerals bring a smile to the nation. Let their politicians deliver whatever they promised the nation.” Prophet Magaya prayed.
The declaration went pleasing to the multitude to the extent that the mayor for the city of Lilongwe and politicians who were present at the crusade applaused God, lifting their hands in worship.
The crusade was graced with various musicians like The Great Angels, King James Phiri, Dr Ethel Kamwendo and Kelly kay.
