Misale Secondary School Alumni Donates Chairs on their Official Launch

Misale CDSS in Mchinji has received a donation of 115 chairs worth to over 0.6 million Malawi Kwacha from the former students of the school.

The donation has taken place at the secondary’s grounds where these former students of the institution were officially launching the group of former students of the institution.

According to the Chair person, Reverend Phillip Kambulire, who is also the moderator of Nkhoma Synod, the group is known as Misale Secondary School Alumni Association.

”The association is aimed at improving some of the things at the institution through the means which these former students can manage,” Reverend Kambulire said.

He further thanked all the members for officially launching the association as well as to make the donation materialize.

Speaking earlier at the function in which Avant Publication was in attendance, the Secretary of the association, Mr George Msesa encouraged the incumbent students to emulate their example and work hard in their studies so as to realize their dreams.

The headteacher of the institution, Mr Aaron Masaila th anked the alumni association for the donation and asked the students at the institution to care for the donation.

On the occasion, the incumbent students had a variety of performances to spice the events.

The association was formed in 2018. Prior to this official launch, the association also donated sports facilities imported from China several months ago.

Misale community Day Secondary School is one of the oldest secondary schools in Malawi. It was opened in 1963 and has produced several top class citizens working in different fields in Malawi and beyond.
