The school has been closed following chaos that happened last night
The students also damaged a police unit where they believed their fellow student was being held
A Student from the school was picked by the police following reports that he sexually abuse his fellow student at the campus. This angered some students as they claimed that the suspect and the victim did sex upon agreement. This made the students to go rampant.
Currently, Police in Dedza are keeping in custody 19 students for malicious damage.
According to Dedza Police Spokesperson Sub Inspector Edward Kabango the students went on rampage damaging 245 window panes and 60 chairs at their school and went further to damage 135 window panes at Mayani police Unit.
