The Officer In-Charge (O/C) for Kawale Police Station, Mr Davie Chilalire Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) has hailed officers from Area 23 Police Unit for commendable perfomance and cohesion when duty calls.
He made the remarks during a lecture held today, September 11, 2024 at Area 23 Police Unit.
Speaking during the lecture, he stressed much on police discipline, professionalism and other ethical values when duty bound.
In his speech, Chilalire urged officers to be apolitical, have agape love, dedication to duty and ensure team working spirit.
He further advised officers to be agent of positive change and wish others well by among others be a conduit to someones destiny within the service.
On capacity building, Mr Davie Chilalire (ACP) has promised of some short course trainings to officers under Kawale in the near future.
He again, asked officers to refrain from absconding duties and other unbecoming behavior like drinking irresponsibly and associating with crimimals like chamba dealers.
During the lecture, the O/C also charged the unit second in charge to gather officers at an opportune time and read over Service Standing Order (SSO) as faillure to comply standards of SSO is directly registering oneself the exit door in the service.
Speaking earlier on Inspector Chrisy Lembani the Unit second In-Charge welcomed the OC and relayed the challenges faced at the Unit.
