Traffic Police Officers in Kawale have on April 8, 2026, impounded sixty-three motor vehicles for breaching road traffic rules and regulations.
Steering the operation, Assistant Superintendent John Benjamin Nyangulu, Station Traffic Officer (STO), made sure that unroadworthy motor vehicles were booked against the offence committed.
Some motorists were on traffic grips for carrying passengers for reward on goods vehicle, some without documents and exceeding carrying capacity.
During the operation traffic officers targeted all road network within Kawale, Biwi, Area 24 and Mchesi routes.
Meanwhile, Police in the area warns motorists against breaching road traffic rules.
