The Officer In-Charge for Kawale Police Station, Mr Davie Chilalire Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), on August 26,2024 set an example for all officers under his command to follow in crime prevention.
Among the various strategies put in place to tame crime, the OC underscores patrol duties as another weapon that needs active participation of every officer
As demostrated by his involvement in foot patrols the OC conducted vehicle patrols from Kawale Station to Area 23 and later he led the team on foot patrols in difficult to reach areas and winded at Chipasula
During the patrols the OC interacted with residents at different points .
Meeting one of Kaliyeka resident Dorothy Meleka, expressed her gratitudes and asked for such visits citing that it helps to scare the hoodlums and help to prevent crime.
The Officer In-Charge was setting it as an example for officers to emulate which in turn will help in slowing criminal cases in the area.
