Learners at Chipasula Secondary School on October 31, 2024 have been challenged to be agents of positive change and good ambassadors in their families and communities.
Addressing the learners at Chipasula School campus, Kawale Officer In-Charge (OC), Mr Davie Chilalire ACP urged learners to avoid habits that can doom their future.He therefore asked learners to be visionary and focused on education which in turn can bring a significant change economically.
Said Chilalire. “If you have a good education, you will become a reliable citizen and break generation poverty in your families.”
He therefore asked students to turn around current situation to the better in the near future. He said, this will not only change their economic muscle but will also improve the development of communities.
Mr Chilalire, promised of continued police presence around Chipasula to halt crime, which will create a conducive environment for studies.

At the same meeting, Detective Sergeant Thomas Thomson warned them on drug and substance abuse. he asked learners to refrain from such. He also addressed issues of suicide and kidnapping while Sergeant Joster Chiyani shared road traffic tips to avert road accidents.
Sergeant Yohanne Juma, Crime Prevention Officer enlightened learners on sexual related cases at school and in various homes. He again had time to address Gender Based Violences in homes that need to be reported to Victim Support Unit at Kawale Police.
The Deputy Headteacher, Mr Yonah Mambala, expressed his profound gratitude to Kawale Police for the timely visit and further asked law enforcers to continue with such meetings.
