Kawale based female Police Officer, Inspector Gladys Chimwaza Kanyangalazi on Saturday drove miles away from her duty Station to celebrate her birthday with the elderly people of Mdoka village in Zomba as she donated various items, such as Sugar, Salt, washing and bathing soap and wrappers as part of celebrating her big day. In total she reached to 25 souls, 10 elderly and 15 school going children.
She further invited the elderly villagers into a luncheon.This did not end with the elderly alone, Gladys further reached the school going children with a donation of note books.

She took her time to motivate the young learners to work hard in school for them to become what they want and uplift Mdoka village economically.
“Use education as a tool to transform this village,if you are well educated you become a productive citizen and further have capacity to bring positive change to society” Said Gladys.
She further urged other responsible sons and daughters of Mdoka village that have made it in life and lives in town to remember their people with the little they have citing that it will bring a smile to them.
Speaking on behalf of other beneficiaries ,Gogo Kalipinde hailed Inspector Gladys Chimwaza Kanyangalazi for the kind gesture citing that the things received were not reachable due to their financial muscle.

While an 88-year-old Granny Ndingwa said that she has seen the visible hand of God and a true reflection of christianity through Gladys and she had to offer a prayer for Godly blessings upon her.
