The newly promoted team from the Simso Innobuild Northern Region Football League, Baka City FC, has secured the services of former Civil Service United FC head coach, Oscar Kaunda, to lead the technical panel. Kaunda will be deputized by Devie Myombe.
According to Avant Publications, Kaunda has inked a one-year deal with Baka City FC, with a condition tied to the team’s survival in the TNM Super League.
Expressing his joy in joining Baka City FC, Kaunda, upon signing the contract, promised positive results for the team, citing the importance of teamwork.
Bentry Jembe, the Chairman of Baka City FC, emphasized that the presence of Kaunda and his deputy, Davie Myombe, is likely to yield fruitful results, stating that their primary goal is to secure the team’s position in the TNM Super League.
Kaunda, who previously left Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in 2021 to join Karonga United FC as an assistant coach before later joining Civil Service United FC, brings a wealth of experience to Baka City FC.
