At the Annual General Meeting of the Northern Region Volleyball League, presided over by Severia Chalira, a representative from the Malawi National Sports Council Northern Region Office:
- Mac third Mmangisa secured the Vice Chairperson position unopposed.
- Jonas Chikhoto claimed the position of Vice General Secretary unopposed.
- Akvie Matchawi won the Publicity Secretary position with 18 votes, defeating Catherine Namwera, who received 9 votes.
- Joseph Mphande became a committee member unopposed.
In the aftermath of the elections, Severia Chalira expressed satisfaction, characterizing the outcome as a positive stride for the Northern Region Volleyball League committee. She highlighted that the newly filled positions would enhance teamwork and address previously vacant roles.
The newly elected Vice Chairman, Mac third Mmangisa, is optimistic about instigating positive change in Northern Region volleyball. Recognizing the challenges the sport has faced, he envisions revitalizing it for a brighter future.
