KANYENDA TAKES REFEREE COURSE IN MOROCCO

In an exciting development, Fanny Kanyenda is undergoing an international volleyball referee course in Rabat, Morocco.

Kanyenda, who plays for the Red Li Volleyball team in Lilongwe, is also the chairperson of the National Volleyball Commission. She was nominated for this course by the Volleyball Association of Malawi (VAM)

In an interview with Avant Publications from Rabat, Kanyenda expressed her delight at being the first Malawian woman to attend this training.

“When I got the news, I was excited and took it seriously. I knew it was going to be a career opportunity, and I would be the driver to take my federation to another level,” said Kanyenda.

Kanyenda emphasized that being the first female and the first Malawian to train for this course is a significant achievement.

She also praised the VAM president and the volleyball community for their trust and tireless efforts in supporting her.

When asked about her secret to success, she said it lies in knowing and understanding the game’s rules and being able to apply them.

Kanyenda’s journey marks a significant milestone for Malawi’s volleyball community, inspiring many others to pursue similar opportunities.
