Avant has learnt how a nine year old girl pain came about at Chileka in Blantyre.
The Police records that the girls father, Feston Madukani, tied her hands and legs, locked her in a room and poured hot water on her both legs and hands because she refused to wash dishes.
Speaking to avantmalawi Chileka Police Spokesperson, Peter Mchiza, says the father is in custody on accusation of grievous harm.
The girl was later taken to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital where she is being treated.
This comes barely hours after various abominations are rotating in various parts of Malawi.
