EKWAIWENI TAFIKA ORGANIZATION BRINGS CLEAN WATER TO EKWENDENI COMMUNITIES

In a remarkable initiative aimed at enhancing access to clean and healthy water, Ekwaiweni Tafika Organization made a significant impact on the lives of several communities at Ekaiweni in Mzimba on Monday, October 2, 2023. This humanitarian endeavor saw the organization handing over essential boreholes to various areas, ensuring that clean water flows freely to those in need.

Ekwaiweni Tafika Organization’s dedication to improving the well-being of the local population was evident as they presented boreholes to Ekwendeni Community Day Secondary School, Msiki Community Day Secondary School, Andrew Machana Kaunda Village, and Yana Orphanage in Mzimba. The successful drilling of these boreholes was made possible through the expertise of Mozagua Drilling Company.

Speaking at the heartwarming handover ceremony held at Matchana Village, Shamine Mozagua, the President of Mozagua Drilling Company, expressed his delight at the project’s success. He acknowledged the pivotal role played by the community’s unwavering commitment, which ensured the project’s completion.

Cindee Rood, the Director of Formidable Joy organization, a USA-based entity that generously funded this noble cause, shared her gratitude and happiness. She emphasized the significance of the initiative, highlighting that it would now enable the community to access clean and safe drinking water, a fundamental necessity for a healthy life.

Shupo Kumwenda, the Director of Ekwaiweni Tafika Organization, beamed with pride as he witnessed the successful accomplishment of the project. His dedication to the cause and the organization’s relentless efforts had borne fruit, bringing about a positive change in the lives of countless individuals.
