Senior Resident Magistrate Shyreen Chirwa has set 5th May as a day where she will rule on whether Norman Chisale has a case to answer or not on his alleged certificate faking and forgery case.
Chisale a former security aide to the immediate past president Peter Mutharika is accused of impersonating another person during the recruitment of Malawi Defense Force (MDF).
The state wrapped up parading its remaining two witnesses yesterday.
Chisale is being represented by Lawyer Chancy Gondwe who described the witnesses as having no evidence and he said he is optimistic that his client does not have a case to answer.
Since Mutharika lost power in June last year Chisale has faced multiple arrests and he is currently answering a number of cases including, attempted murder and corruption among others.
