Blue Eagles have hired Gerald Phiri Snr as their head coach with immediate effect and will be assisted by Christopher Sibale and Wilson Chidati.
“The appointment follows interviews that were held on 9th December 2020 at Senior Officers Mess, Area 30 Lilongwe,” reads a statement signed by Alexander Ngwala, Blue Eagles Chairperson.
On Sunday, Blue Eagles settled for a 3-all draw against Karonga United in a TNM Super League match played at Nankhaka stadium.
They are on tenth position with 5 points from four games.
