Founder of Amazing Grace Christian Gathering Church, Bishop Chimwemwe Chafumuka, has pledged to provide a monthly contribution of K500,000 for the next 10 months to Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar FC. This generous assistance aims to cover some expenses for the players, strengthening the team’s performance and prospects.
Bishop Chafumuka expressed his admiration for the team’s passion and dedication, which he noticed through his friend, Gerald Chavez Kampanikiza. Believing in their potential for greatness, he partnered with them to motivate the players and support their journey.
The funding will also introduce a “Player of the Month” award, with the winner receiving K100,000 until the end of the season. Manager Elijah Amon Ngondo expressed gratitude, as this support would help motivate the entire team and enhance their performance.

Additionally, the funds will be used to cover players’ game bonuses, and Bishop Chafumuka personally congratulated Clement Nyondo, the current TNM Super League’s leading top goal scorer, with a special package for his achievement.
Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar FC, in their second season in the elite league, has made it to the semi-finals of the FDH Bank Cup. Their journey continues as they face reigning champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, and they finished 8th at the end of the first round in the 2023 TNM Super League season.
To show his continued support, Bishop Chafumuka will host a special dinner at his house in Namiwawa before the team’s match against Bullets in Blantyre.
Through this benevolent partnership, Dedza Dynamos is poised to ascend to greater heights in Malawi football.
