At Ntcheu boma in the early hours of today Monday, a three tonne lorry rammed into Ntcheu Mapeto Whitex Shop.

Two people are feared dead while two others have escaped with serious injuries and are admitted to Ntcheu district hospital.

An eyewitness, who is a guard at the shop, Henderson Albert, told our Reporters that the vehicle was speeding before it lost control and swerved to the offside lane of the road where it hit part of the building.

Ntcheu Police Station Spokesperson Hastings Chigalu asked for some time before commenting on the matter.

The vehicle registration number BX 8528 had carried bags of onions and at the time of the accident, it was coming from the direction of Balaka hearding towards Dedza.
