𝐁𝐎𝐘𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃

A 39-year-old man identified as James Kachala of Chiwamba village in the area of Traditional Authority Chikowi has committed suicide by hanging himself after murdering his girlfriend.

According to information, Kachala murdered the girlfriend Annie Kholokotoko, 20, of the same area in Zomba District after suspecting her to be in love affair with another man.

Annie was in form 3 when she was assaulted to death by her boyfriend.

After committing the offence in Zomba, Kachala ran away to his brother’s home in Mwanza where he committed suicide.
