Police nets Cyclist for Overloading

A cyclist at Sorjin in Nsanje has been apprehended for overloading his bicycle ferrying school children, Avant publications has confirmed.

The cyclist earlier today, dangerously ferried  9 pupils on his bicycle to school. The police then later apprehended him for questioning.

The cyclist identified as Mabvuto Mussa , aged 40, ferried the 9 pupils to St Joseph Nursery School situated at Sorjin Trading Centre in Nsanje.

Meanwhile, reports reaching Avant publications through the police public relations officer, Supt James Kadadzera indicate that the man has been released. He will report again at Chiromo Police Post on Monday, October 26. (In the Same way he will report at a community police tommorow for Civic education on how to cycle on the road)

Mabvuto Mussa hails from Sorgin Village, TA Mbenje, in Nsanje District.
