Mob justice has been practiced in Mulanje district.
Mr Chisankho Kuipa aged 21, from Magombo Village T/A Mkanda in Mulanje reported that his elder brother Ronald Kuipa aged 41 (of the same particulars) has been killed by the angry mob.
This occurred on 20/09/2020 during nigh hours at Namasaloma village.
Brief facts are that on 20/09/2020 during night hours, the deceased snatched a cellphone from a certain woman and run away.
Since the woman was with her husband, they shouted for help.
Without delays, the public managed to catch the deceased and beat him to death.
Later they set him on fire. The matter was reported to the police and scene of incident was visted by CID personnel.
The dead body was taken to Mulanje District Hospital for post mortem and results indicated that Ronald Kuipa died due to several loss of blood.
No arrest has been made so far.
