The Officer-In-Charge for Kawale Police Station Mr Marco Mvukuta Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) has challenged officers to embrace unity,love while upholding professionalism towards the drive in crime fight
Mr Marco Mvukuta (ACP) made the call during his maiden lecture in Kawale’s lower formations of Area 23 and 24.
During his familiarization tour, Mr Marco Mvukuta (ACP) appealed to officers in the two sister police units to align themselves with police core values whenever discharging security services.
The Officer In-Charge (OC), Mr Mvukuta highlighted several issues that aims at winning public trust and curtail crime in the area.
Mr Marco Mvukuta further urged officers in fast tracking investigations of reported cases, observing 48-hour-rule, distancing themselves from corrupt practices which dents the organization image and further bring curses upon ones life, and maintaining police bail conditions.
During his visit in the two police units Mr Marcio Mvukuta ACP warned officers against involvement in active politics citing that it not only breach police ethics but also bring divisions in the organization and infuriates hatred amongst officers which derails service delivery.
“Let’s be apolitical, we are serving the same government and the same public, so let’s be united towards one goal without divisions”Said Mvukuta.
Mr Marco Mvukuta (ACP) further warned officers against indulgence in extra Marital affairs which poses a threat in ones health and also increases financial demands that forces officers to indulge in corrupt practices for the sake of accumulating money to meet outside demands.
The OC, Mr Mvukuta (ACP) was franked by the Station Officer Senior Supritendent Gladys Chiwaula who had time to address officers in the visited formations on increased police visibility through strategic points and patrols which helps to deflate crime in the area before commission.
The two Kawale top bosses demonstrated their love towards the visited units by making a commitment to address the challenges faced in their daily duties.
In Area 23 the OC was welcomed by unit deputy in charge Supritendent Lembani while in Area 24, the OC was welcomed by the unit In-Charge Senior Supritendent Edina Nthete.
The two sister police units expressed their commonality of challenges which have been promised to be solved according to their magnitudes.
